Adele: Easy On Me Meaning
Easy On Me Lyrics
That I've been washin' my hands in forever

I think Easy On me is about how fame really got to Adele and that she wanted to stop having life so public. The part where it says, “ Go easy on me, baby,I was still a child, Didn't get the chance to, Feel the world around me.” Adele became famous at 18 so she didn’t get to live that young adult life away from the spotlight. It’s also is an ode to her past love that didn’t work out, as shown in the music video when the married couple drives off, hinting at her divorce. The music video was also shot at and old house where she did “Hello”. It’s like saying goodbye to the past as she drives away from it and as the house falls apart. It’s a 100/10 song! :)
