The Spectre Lyrics

Hello hello
Can you hear me
As I scream your name?
Hello hello
Do you need me
Before I fade away

Is this the place that I call home?
To find what I've become
Walk along the path unknown
We live, we love, we lie

Deep in the dark I...

this song actually needs no translation ...the singer calls for anyone who hears to his call ... to answer him ... to take away his doubts ..his confusions ... he calls for them before he is consumed by all of it ... he talks about his home ... by which he here by refers to the place he once felt he belonged ... but doesn't feel the same anymore ... and has now taken a path ... to find his destiny ... where he actually belongs ...
by saying we live we love we lie .. he refers to all the mistakes a human makes in his lifetime ... coz afcourse we are not perfect ... no one is ... but this is what makes us humans .. now he has reached this realization and needs light no more to guide him on his path ... by the ghost he refers to a voice inside of him .. his conscience ... which belongs to the other side ... his past .. the gost of the past ... the memories ... still haunt him ... but still he seems to make peace with this ghost and moves on ...now he carries the memories he can never forget and accepts them to be a part of him ... thats it ... all this song explains is about humans ... their relations .. which can be considered either in the context of nature his home ... calling what he has done to his home and questioning himself or in the context of a lover ... trying to fight the gost of his by gone love ... like the moon he can never reach ... just admire from a distance ... but eventually learns to make peace with it ...

THATS IT I HOPE U RE SATISFIED WITH THE EXPLANATION AND I TRULY HOPE THAT I M NOT WRONG ABOUT MY INTERPRETATION ND I DID NOT CONSUME TOO MUCH OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ...
    ANYWAY ...

now somenthing interesting i found is that all the alan walker songs are conected. so, first, the song alone says about "I know im not alone", but then theres the spectre, saying "...before i fade away..." and then theres faded, which literally just says "Im faded..." and "there (was) once a faded light inside of mee... im faded...". finally theres darkside, which comes either before or after these. it could refer to "fall in to the dark, side" then "not alone.." because there were lots of people that went, or, the darkside reffers to the place that the guy from the spectre went to.

The song talks about "deep in the dark we don't need the light there's a ghost inside of me" is probably talking about how he did some stuff he didn't like and deep inside he still has ragret that haunts him like a specter.

He's talking to himself and reflecting on his life. He's stuck in his head and has lost himself, which is what the first stanza means, and wonders if he needs his inner self anymore, not the fake mask he wears on the outside.

The 'home' he mentions about is himself, and he's asking whether or not it's the place where he can find himself again or if he has to look somewhere else. As he can't exactly get an answer to his question, he doesn't know where he's going and walks down an unknown, unpredictable path. He's still living, loves people, and lies by saying he's fine.

In the darkness of his head he claims he doesn't need a light (which represents joy, happiness, love etc.) to guide him because what's left of him is just a ghost of who he used to be, because who he was know only exists on the other side, which is probably the land of the dead or something.

I'm too lazy to do the rest of the song, but the spectre (spectre means ghost in case you didn't know) is him.

The lyrics are literal. He is calling to see if someone like him will answer him.

there is no reason for an interpretation. like in the song the person is literally calling to see if anybody will answer him. life can really be like that sometimes. the person probably came out as something nobody expected him to be and he is seeing if anybody else out in the world is like that.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I honestly think that Alan Walker is not happy with his past doings

It is about how we choose our own paths and evolve based on the decisions we make.

This might be about a breakup and s/he is sad because they are fading from memory of the other person that they love.

The meaning is that this guy is obviously suffering from a breakup and u can tell he also has some anal pains that need to be taken care of, this man is very alone and no one I repeat no one will comfort him, - teddy roosevelt.

The song "The Spectre" by Alan Walker is about a person who is unnoticeable (Hello, hello, can you hear me) because s/he's being his or her own self.
