    I earned a degree in History, so I am drawn to this song based upon Graffin's infusion of ideas incorporating the colonial periods and Industrial Revolution that took place on two continents, but involved five landmasses and their natural resources.

    I am a newbie to this site, but I found a dearth of exchange when it came to discussing BR lyrics, interpretations, and ideas. I suppose there are more songs that are more enigmatic than this one, but I look forward to hearing some ideas and interpretations. I hope that this entry will spawn such discussion.
