Bhad Bhabie: Gucci Flip Flops Meaning

Gucci Flip Flops Lyrics
-
As an avid consumer of Bhad Bhabie’s admittedly scant oeuvre, I felt a particular affinity with “Gucci Flip Flops” for its profound commentary on the nature of materialism, rife with irony and classical allusion. Structurally it resembles a Silva while in diction it draws upon the elegant simplicity of urban street language. Take for instance the line “fuck it, hit your bitch in the socks” the mood is violently choleric but vaguely restrained—the socks temper the speaker’s evident rage. In many ways B.B is a modern Sappho whose appeal transcends genre and indeed language itself

I think it means they just like slurring women and these lyrics provide them with an opportunity to do so. It makes them sound in a way they perceive to be "tough" so people might be less inclined to tell them no or confront them. They're also saying things they think make them sound admirable; as though having a bunch of common shiny stuff on redundant accessories wouldn't actually be tacky or show you have zero common sense for having spent so much on things that don't have an intrinsic value. Beyond that the song isn't about anything; how would one keep a breeding animal in their own socks and it still be big enough for them to strike?
