The first time that I listened to Copycat, I kept wondering what the song actually meant. Just like Chelsea up above, I had heard Ocean Eyes and immediately searched up Billi Eilish, and now I am OBSESSED with her songs. I also love how her songs have meaning, like how this song was written to show that you should just be yourself, and the way she demonstrates the meanings all throughout the song is just brilliant. Thank you so much Billi Eilish, and, once again, as Chelsea said, “I wish one day I’ll grow up to be as amazing as u”.

I think it’s about somebody trying to copy Billie’s everything. Hair, clothes, and just style in general. I found this song on YT one day and I was just like “I NEED to see other songs like this!” So I looked at other songs by Billie and I went. She’s a good artist. But this year I’ve become OBSESSED oh my gawd I love her soooooooo much! Billie, if ur reading this, u r so unique and different and brilliant. Never change! I wish one day I’ll grow up to be as amazing as u (I’m 12 rn).

There was a girl who was copying Billie. She found out and brought the matter up to her brother, FINNEAS, and declared that she wanted to write about it.
Also, fun fact about the chorus- part of it was originally “f— that b— you can’t have mine” but she changed it because she thought about the young listeners and realized that even she was young. Then the lyrics changed to “why so sad bunny can’t have mine?” -

I think this song is about how someone is jealous of Billie so they decide to copy her and make others dislike her. Then her and her brother wrote a song about it. Such a great song.

To me all the songs that Billie writes are inspiring, they are just amazing. She inspires me everyday to write my own songs. They are not very good, but I try. She is just my number one role model. Her style makes me feel like I can do anything. I love Billie Eilish So much! I wish she could see this. Lmao I dm her telling her how much I love her haha. Like she reads those. Billie noticed the girl who copied her and did something about, and that's why I love her so much. This is also one of my favorite songs because it has meaning and it doesn't just exist for the sake of existing. That's another reason why I love her, she puts meaning behind her songs, unlike for example, "Seven Rings" by Ariana Grande. It doesn't really have any meaning, it's just to exist and make her more popular. Thanks for reading!
