I think its about when we love someone that doesnt love us back. And that love doesn always work out the way we want it to. Thats why love isnt always fair

i think this song's meaning is pretty self-explanatory in the name and that you always seem to never get who you're in love with. life is hard and this is a part of how hard life is-the fact that love can be very unfair. hence in the chorus "You always want the ones that you can't have, cuz love isn't always fair." as for "you are the best romance i never had" that should obviously mean that the person you love the most can also love you greatly but that chance for you can't be given. another way to put this is that you don't always get what you want, and most of the time that happens. trust me, i've gone through that.

From what I heard Andy say, it's about chasing after someone you really want, and then when you get them, you realize you don't want them any more.
"One look and I am sold" As in, you see a person and you decide you want them.
"Hearts race the moments gone" You finally get the person, and you don't feel the excitement of chasing after them any more.
"In this temporary love" You only 'love' the person for a short period of time. -
It's like you always want what you can't have, and love is a b*tch like that.

I think the song is about unrequited love, where you're in love with someone you cannot have. In other ways it's about having something you've always wanted, but once you have it you do not want it any longer. As, "Love isn't always fair." Taking love for granted as it is, "In this temporary love." Perhaps it's understanding that many are in love but it is impossible to even have the one you want. -
It's about someone in love with someone but doesn't like them because they're different..

Well... I feel really stupid saying this... but I believe it's about having a girlfriend that keeps breaking up with you to date someone else, realizing that she wants to go back to you. You have sex with her... but it isn't fair because she just keeps using you.
