    BLACKPINK said that the “ddu-du ddu-du” represents the sound of gunshots. They are singing about being strong and savage, similar to “How You Like That.” They sing about that hidden side of themselves that the world doesn’t see, as they see them as weak and too nice. They are basically saying, “Don’t underestimate me!”

    the song is about a guy thinking a girl is easy and and nice but in reality she's a bad girl and badass and hard to figure out. The girl looks sweet on the outside but her attitude(inside) is "salty". She's savage, and says whats on her mind so she doesn't pretend to be nice like most people do. What I mean is a lot of people are bad on the inside but they act nice because they want people to like them but this girl just acts however she wants not caring what people think. And also apparently she's rich and gets whatever she wants but other people don't --> "its like cutting water with a knife" which basically means other people can't get it.The girl is pretty, toxic, dangerous and sexually attractive. And also the girl means trouble. She has "bought all your bucket lists" means she has done everything that everyone wants to do.. She pushes a person in and then pushes them away again because she's a bad girl(so its kind of like she toys with people.) Its also easy for her because she's really pretty and attractive so.. well people(guys mostly I'm guessing but it could be girls too) are attracted and interested in her.

    Apparently, the song name means revenge and savageness. The lyrics of the song means being savage and having woman power. It's about toxic people around you and showing that BLACKPINK can deal with anything and that they can deal with hardships.

    The song is nice and easy to dance but bp always come up with same concept sweet&Savage the vocal and rap lines are talented yg should give them fresh and better songs with new style and cocept in which they can write their own lyrics

    “ddu-du ddu-du” is a slang term tor good sex performance or tight vagina. Ddu-du ddu-du is the onomatopoeia for sex sounds when hips and thighs are hitting together.

    So Blackpink is saying, “what are you going to do when i give you this tight vagina or good sex?”

    The handgun pose they do during dancing represents the male orgasm.

    A lot of kpop listeners aren’t familiar with mature themes and mature groups like blackpink so they believe it means nothing.

    This song is about how the girls look innocent and kind but in reality are extremely savage. It's the whole group's concept. Black representing the savage side, and pink representing the sweet side we all expect but rarely get. The only time when a full BlackPink song has been pink is in As If It's Your Last, and that was a summer song so it's expected.
