   as per the lyrics provided on this site I believe just by looking at the first three paragraphs

   Just by the first paragraph
   its about an ex talking to her every now and then and he feels alone and wishes he gets back together
   
   Here I am standing on my own

   Calls her leaves a message and she doesn't call him back or care because she is totally over him and he just wants to die because he's miserable with out her

   Carousel is my fav blink song.............the band is trying to show how when you grow up and have to start working for a living life begins to somewhat suck and you realize how hard it is to get by in life. It also shows how lonely life can be when you have to work all day and then come home eat then sleep and then do it all over again for many years

   I just want to say, I laughed at that "Buying food every once in a while, but not enough to purchase a smile" Because It's like saying two things. 1. He's referring to McDonald's Free smiles. LOL. or 2. He's referring to the fact that he's not happy. This is probably Tom or Mark, since they both were adults at the start of the band. musicians don't make MUCH money doing Gigs and stuff, So this is a song about hardship and struggles. I MEAN, LOOK AT THE NOW. Well, Not now, But maybe 1 year ago. They split up now. :'(
