   This song is, quite obviously, about having sex, but referred to with lots of double entendres and clever references to pop culture.
   
   When this song came out, a lot of people just referred to it as "that Discovery Channel song", because it's just about having wild sex like animals do on the Discovery Channel, with no inhibitions whatsoever... just mindless horny fun.

   This song is a very deep interpretation of the psychology of human beings. The chorus is meant to show the listener that humans are just animals and like every animal, they have simple instincts that they can't ignore no matter how civilised they attempt to act(they being humans).
   
   The first verse cleverly gets the listener to believe that they are singing about sex when in fact they are singing about their love for food.
   
   The second verse is talking about the singer's first love. When e was ten he met a girl on a cruise. This girl was obsessed with archeology. Line by line the proper iterpretations is:
   "Love, the kind you clean up with the mop and bucket" He met the girl when he ran into her on the cruise and caused her to spill something. They instantly fell in love and cleaned up the mess together.
   "Like the lost catacombs of egypt" The girl had a book about different cites in egypt that they looked at together.
   "Only god know where we stuck it" They hid the book on the ship.
   "Hiroglyphics" Another obsession of the girl
   "Let me be specific I wanna be down in your south seas" The girl was from south america, he wanted to sail with her on the ocean"
   "But I got this notion that the motion of your ocean means small craft advisory" She showed him a picture of her and her grandpa by a sign that read "motion of your ocean" which he latter learned from an austrailan sailor is how the south americans say "small craft advisory"
   "So if I capsize on your thighs high tide" When he ran into her, her drink also fell on her lap, this was during high tide and the container for the drink was in the shape of ship, so it 'capsized'
   "B-5 you sunk my battleship" they played battleship together
   "Please turn me on, I'm Mr. Coffee with an automatic drip" They played a game where they pretending to be household appliances.
   "so show me yours I'll show you mine" The each had a special item with them. Her's was her book. His was his baseball cap.
   "tool time we'll love it just like lyle" one of the sailors named lyle said this when he saw the spill.
   "then we'll do it doggy style so we can both watch x-files" X-files was one of there favorite shows, they watched an episode together and on the show they were talking about "doggy style" they didn't know what it meant at the time but they joked about "doing doggy style"
   
   This song is honestly very innocent when you look at the lyrics closely and actually hear what the writers have to say about it.
