   Dylan is symbolically describing the damage done by terrorism of ''cultural Marxism'' that has been destroying and corrupting our moral values and families in the Middle East, Europe and the rest of the World. Where ''Everything is Broken'', like the damage that was done to the American Conservative way of life since ''the Frankfurt school'' of mostly Far Left anti-Christian, anti-Semitic,anti-Democratic intellectual Zionists that have been madly poisoning our mindsets in Their hate for our Western moral Judeo-Christian values of freedom not to know with a Christ consciousness, our Constitution of The United States of America.

   this song might be in line with desolation row, but written in a much, much less mysterious way. they both seem to point out what's wrong with the world from Dylan's point of view. just as D.R. tells of people out of their real element and forced to be something else in a "white Rabbit" world. everything is broken just puts his opinions right on the table for everyone to see. there's no double meanings in this song. Bob is telling us, in my opinion this is what's causing the world's problems, and the deeper problem is we are doing nothing to change what's wrong! rather we would rather sit back and shake our heads saying "TSK, TSK,what a shame. you know somebody should really do something about this, as we watch ole Cronkite on the 7:00 news, an grabbing another beer
