Land Locked Blues Lyrics
First tell me which road you will take
I don't want to risk our paths crossing some day
So you walk that way, I'll walk this way
The future hangs over our heads
And it moves with each current event
Until it falls...

This song is about feeling stuck inside of yourself. The human form of being in able to keep anything permanent with the exception of death in which we are truly free. The beauty of this song is how Connor was able to truly encase the human form within one song. It is about us, and our desperate need to be something more than ourselves which is ultimately conceived through death. The trumpets in this song represent freedom from our own minds and bodies. It is us as humans officially letting our souls free from the encasement we are all trapped in.
