Badlands Lyrics

Lights out tonight,
Trouble in the heartland,
Got a head on collision,

as we know most songs mean different things to different people as we get caught in them like me in mid 70's in public high school years as a diehard springsteen fan of his music wanting to hear and understand the invisible side of life that calls us to be a child of god without losing our innocence in the struggles of this world. the faith and the will to power are awesome in this song to fight against the dark forces of this world in prayer. when the lights go out, you are in the darkness where we don't understand the forces that are attracted to it, trying to keep us there lost in our sins. well the fight is on to overcome them, wanting the soul of the girl not to destroy, only to guide it in faith to the lord to protect it. reminds me of a her-man saying along time ago. o son how many bodies we have to pass through, how many band of demons, through how many series of repetitions and cycles of the stars before we hasten to the one alone. happy birthday bruce and many more.
