Wrecking Ball Lyrics
Through the mud and the beer, and the blood and the cheers, I've seen champions come and go
So if you got the guts mister, yeah if you've got the balls
If you think...

A great BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN song about US trying to live through those times when the Neighborhood Bully and his globalists messege that was obviously in Our face. Metaphorically and symbolically, targeting US THE PEOPLE. By which one day THOSE BULLIES decided to bring the ''Wrecking Ball'' on bringing down GIANTS STADIUM, eracing and killing off Human history and the greatest Giant football entertainment overthere with It's People's memories that grew up in Them to be strong as Supermen on the backs of Giants and Their homeland that was destroyed.

This song is about time. The "wrecking ball" is an analogy for time -- time that inevitably destroys everything, even the giants that played in the meadowlands -- all those heros we knew before are gone, replaced by new faces. Even the steel turns to dust, time takes all. Now, the singer is older, the game (his life) is almost over, all his youth and beauty turned to dust ("dust to dust"), and the clock (his time) is running out, and all his "little" victories and glories (i.e, insignificant in the face of history over time) are gone, and his hopes and desires scatterd (a common Springsteen theme of loss of dreams), and time keeps repeating the same thing over and over and over and over -- hard times come and hard times go.

This song is in the point of view of the Giants stadium. The stadium is saying that it has seen and been through a lot. As you know the Giants stadium has been knocked down and a new stadium was built next to it. Springsteen is writing in this song and letting the reader know that the stadium is saying come on do what ever you want in still gonna be strong no matter what, even if you knock me down with your wrecking ball!
