Just What I Needed lyrics

I don't mind you coming here
wasting all my time
'Cause when you're standing oh so near
I kinda lose my mind

It's not the perfume that you wear
It's not the ribbons in your hair
I don't mind you coming...

It's a sarcastic love song. Feed and bleed are a basic relationship of give and take. Sorry, but some of you are whack in your interpretation of this song.
She wastes his time and she's just what he needed.

Maybe he's a serial killer and he don't mind wasting his time because he will get what he needed in the end. Blood when she's talking in her sleep.

I think this song is about an older man taking a younger girls virginity- “feed and bleed” being the reason why I believe that- along with “talking in ur sleep’ meaning staying overnight in bed. I hope I am wrong, because I love the song but as an older man myself- my interpretation kind of grosses me out. Makes me feel sorry for the young girl that he truly does not like spending time with because the payoff is sex with a virgin.

It’s about a love hate relationship with drugs, specifically Heroin!
He loves it coming here, it wastes his time. The perfume of it, the package wrapped with ribbons,
He loves having it, it’s deep, loves the look of it, loves hanging out with it, doesn’t mind it coming here and wasting all his time! I think it’s just what he needed- to feed on it- to bleed while injecting it!

This is about insecurity! He likes her, he doesn't know why. He is in denial which is why he calls it a waste of time. It is so obvious that he plays it down in words to hide the insecurity of losing her. If he tells her he doesn't mind her wasting his time, than she wont think he wants her and he can't get hurt.

It's funny reading the other interpretations here, I was listening closely to the lyrics today, and I started to think that it was kind of like a narrative that switches between two different people in an unhealthy relationship, the one person needs someone to fix, the other person needs someone to mooch off of (bleed). I could be wrong, the whole thing about the divorced wife was a good one too, IDK much about the band so, I can't speak with any personal authority about the actual meaning

Song is about a man who has gotten into a relationship with an emotionally abusive woman and is just realizing that her fake victimhood, tears and insecurity were all masks.

He is being used.... and now he knows it.

The song is about his ex that he hates and has a kid with. She has a big mouth. Its not about ribbons and such. It is her shitty attitude. He wants her to blead and plead. This song is hidden revenge against someone who talked in thier sleep. This reveals the identity only to her so she knows the song is about her. This song is truly a masterpiece. I can remember alot of stupid bitches like that. The song cover shows a girl eating a knife. She must have talked like a real idiot for this guy to hide hide messages in this song. I bet she never knew the real meaning of this song.

It's about a girl the singer of the song likes, she comes over to his house or hangout and wastes his free time, but he doesn't care because he is attracted to her, and he needed someone to crush on.
