   As I woke up this morning finding my husband having challenges from surgery, I spent time Complaining to the Lord about his suffering and me not getting any sleep! After getting that out of my system I asked my Lord what He wanted to say to me!
   I immediately heard the first line of that song!!!
   I am not familiar with all the verses so I looked it up!
   This song brought joy to my heart as I believe no matter what is going on in your life, no matter what challenges you are facing, if we focus on Jesus, The Light of The World and The Beauty of His Creation we can have His joy in our hearts to get us through anything we are facing and have strength to overcome!
   The joy of the Lord is our strength and in His Presence ( surrounded by His creation and His awesome presence) is fullness of joy!!!
   What a treasure we have in Jesus!!!

   It seems very clear to me that the words of this song are comparing every new morning that dawns, to the very first morning after God's Creation of the earth - in it's freshness and beauty: The author of the song is praising God for the wonder and awesomness of His Creation, and may be referring a couple of times to when God walked in the Garden of Eden He had created.
   God has given us His handiwork to enjoy: "Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning," and all these wonderful creations were brought into existence by the "one light" - the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the world, and by whom all things were created (John 1:1-14). Creation included the first morning, the sunlight,the blackbird, the rain, and the grass. Creation was an enjoyable experience for the Lord - not difficult in the least, and the song writer refers to this in the line, "Born of the one light, eden (the Garden of Eden) saw play.
   Every new morning is so new in its freshness and newness, that the songwriter refers to it as "God's re-creation of the new day."
