Cemeteries of London Lyrics

At night they would go walking till the breaking of the day
The morning is for sleeping
Through the dark streets they go searching to see God in their own way
Save the night time for your weeping, your weeping

Singing la la la, la la la...

I think it's a song about a group of people (I'm guessing the occult) who every full moon walk through London trying to communicate with the dead spirit of one who they believe to be God. [At night they would go walking/Through the dark streets they go searching to see God in thier own way.] The song describes the story of a boy whose curiosity is peaked by this and he sets out to follow them. [So we rode down to the arches/There are curses to be broken.] Whilst in the cemetery, the occult finally gain communication with the spirit (Such a powerful spirit would release some sort of light. [There's no night over London today.]) the boy is permanently marked (whether psychologically or psysically) by the spirit. [God is in the houses and god is in my head and all the cemeteries in London.]
