Life in Technicolor II Lyrics

There's a wild wind blowin'
Down the corner of my street
Every night there the headlights are ...glowing
There's a cold war coming
On the radio I heard
Baby it's a violent world

Oh love don't let me go
Won't you take me where the...

I think "Now my feet wont touch the ground" implies the moment of death, or the extractment of his own soul from body to peace. As this phrase is already used as name of THE song.

In the lyrics, as siren is mentioned, we can see it is an air raid, and the man in this song, we can infer that he get bombed, so his feet wont touch the ground now,and is at the period of brief revival before his end.

WWII happends in the old days that films still use technicolor technology for colorization. Rather than "Life in Technicolor", "I would rather say it is "Life in WWII".

Definitely masterclass, I love the metaphor from Chris. And the coolest period of Coldplay in my opinion, is in , Chris is cynical and blessed with his talent in History

The first time I heard this song, I felt the presence of a dear friend who was taken by breast cancer.

I think the song is about the act of passing away...of dying.

He is describing being surrounded by the chaos, conflict, and violence of the world - the internal violence of disease could apply as well.

The thoughts/fears of impending death are mixed...

The world is a violent, ugly place....but it is where we find Love. Will Love follow when we pass?

"Oh, Love, don't let me go..."

Where he is heading, "... every road is a ray of light".

    Death is inevitable....

"Time came creeping.... Time's a loaded gun...."

"Time only can lead you Home...." but, still, the night is a beautiful thing.

Despite it's flaws, there is beauty in the world....

When I heard the lines, "Gravity released me...it won't ever hold me down...now my feet won't touch the ground...", I imagined the moment she broke free of the bonds of her ruined body.

I think this song its about violence and war. the character does not want to be a part of our violent world. He wants to scape and go where "the street lights glow" He does not want to land to the real and cruel world and that's why he says "his feet wont touch the ground"

I think this song is about being free and doing whatever you want to do. That's the part with no my feet won't touch the ground. All around, it's a great song and I love Coldplay
