   In this song, the author ( Brad Roberts ?) is the making a statement about the imperfections and limitations of human understanding and knowledge. If God has created a world that includes the sublime experience of sex and love, why does He also allow train wrecks and tornados? Are there UFO’s and extraterrestrials?
   
   Every great artist somehow deals with problem of human limitation. Most every great song, novel, movie or painting deals with this “problem” by documenting in some way man’s struggle to understand and ultimately break free from his limitations.

   He is greatful for all the pleasures that earth has to offer and sometimes gets distracted from the feeling of gratitude, wondering about why tornados and trainwrecks occur.
   He asks earth/nature for understanding the reason for his distractedness. He hopes whatever work he does on earth is fruitful even though all work he does is not good (because of distraction).

   It's about various sexual acts and the distractions many people, if not all people can identify with. One of the thoughts he has is not simply about possibly knocking up some chick and it being a bad thing. It's about the beauty of creating a life. Tis whole album is great, its best to listen to it in order. The issues and subjects this album includes are really quite interesting. The lyrics r honestly some of the best in their own kinda way. Such unusual and even odd words but put together with the sound of his voice and musical style it really is art. Some people think its a joke or don't bother to listen.
