Kooks Lyrics

Apparently this song is for his son, Duncan, written when he was a baby, Bowie describes himself and his wife as 'a couple of Kooks hung up on romancing'. He goes on to talk about the things they bought for him, and implies that if the baby stays with them, he'll turn kooky too. He also implies near the end that he isn't too bothered about schoolwork, saying: if the homework brings you down, Then we'll throw it on the fire, And take the car downtown!
