   My husband chose this song our wedding for our first dance. At first it sounded like a break up song, then I really listended to it and heard what it made me feel. We are both really young and have never had a great life, this song tells a story about two people that want to be together but have been hurt before by eachother or others. They just can't keep away from oneanother inspite of all the past hurt. He wants to give love one more shot cos' he can't be without the way it makes him feel. They both know there is a chance it could all fall apart but minus the broken hearts they are so inlove....what the hell, they give it another chance of being sweept off their feet..

   I think its beautiful that a man can write so tenderly saying how she 'swept' him off his feet, this shows that he is completely in love her so much so that he almost feels like floating

   I feel like the song is echoing the horros of a twisted relationship, an easily going back can meake you mor broke. Hes already a broken soul but, ..just a lil bit. Pleading for this years love and how it had better last, meaning in my interpretation, that good ole phrase, once more into the breech. He remembers what happend the time before and the pain it caused. So this time it had better last. Beautiful song to sing and play especially if like me you can relate in more than one way.

   I feel this song in the depths of my soul.i met someone who swept me off my feet in the midnight street, it's been 5 years 9/8/2014 since we last saw each other in Budapest and not one day goes by that my heart hurts without him. He is my soulmate.

   This song is about hope and hurt. Hoping that the hurt doesn't come back, the lies, the manipulations, the sweet talking and that is real the love this other person says she feels for him. Hoping this time around things work out, telling her how when she kisses him or holds him all the hurt she put him through before becomes tolerable. How after all he still loves her. For me has also another special meaning as it makes me think of a relationship that I have been trying to make work for several years now and every time something goes off and all goes to hell. and after the breakup and the pain, there e are at it again, trying to make it work one more time, another year... and in my head this song plays on, this year's love had better last...

   this song simply about a man who is/has been in love with a woman... but the woman has hurt him more than once, and because of the love he has for her he decides to give her another chance hoping that this time it will be different and he wants to really know if this woman loves him or not wholeheartedly before he could jump in with both feet

   i think this is one of the best love songs i ve ever heard, i can mix emotions of sadness and happiness at the same time becouse i feel the same, my realationships werea disaster until i meet this boy and i hope this doesnt end up like all th other stories, couse i know what we had is magic, i want this to last , not just a year. i love this song :)
