   I feel like this song could be about her fans.
   
   I remember her saying " If you think you're alone, put on my music cause I'm gonna be here for you. "
   
   And she says in this song " My love is like a star, you can't always see me but you know that I'm always there "
   
   That's true. Her fans can't see her, can't be with her but when they put their headphones on and listen to her music, she's there for them.
   
   Everybody can relate to this song in different ways. But personally, this is how I feel it. I'm a huge fan of Demi, and when I hear this song, I think it's for her Lovatics.

   I think it could be also realted to a death.I think( if you put imagination) that Demi is singing this song from the sky. Do you remember that when you were a child you though that the people left you where a star? So i think thus could be one that is dead and this person says "im here for you i will always be there if you see one star shining im that one you are not alone". Yeah it think this could be another option. Demi lovato is my saver , my star,my Hero.

   I feel like this song could be about her family or little sister as much as it could be about a distant love. I think that would be so cute if it were about her little sister!

   This song is about a love that is distant...
   About falling in love with someone but not having the chance to see them as much as you'd like to.
   
   However, your love for one another is so strong that they are still able to love one another when they are not with eachother and that their love grows stronger, the more they are apart.
   
   She uses a 'star' as a simile for a distant relationship.
   
   Many people go through a relationship where they can't spend time together due to being busy with other things or living far apart and how, even though they do not get to talk or hang out much, they still love eachother.
   
   "My love's like star! You can't always see me, but you know that I'm always there!"
   
   Even though they are not capable of seeing eachother as much as they wanted, they still have eachother in eachother's hearts!
   
   
   You know a love is strong if it can still stay attached even when it isn't!
