   It's just like be careful what you pray for. If you pray too hard for a good man you might get one whom thinks he is God. Wishing like praying might get you more misery than pleasure!!!

   So the song starts with some actual news reports talking about the fatalities and the injuries that some people close to Eminem has like Obie who got shot on the head and Proof that got killed (from D12). Later on his song he mentions that he wanted to become famous but not as much that his life would be in danger and this is connected also with the fact that he has to dedicate so much time on his job; "This is what I wished for just isn't how I envisioned it, fame to the point of imprisonment...". Furthermore the most simple message of this song is that you don't always know what's right for you and often what you think is right might as well be your destruction.
