Bishops Knife Trick Lyrics

I'm pedal to the metal make no mistake

And I'm living out of time, eternal heatstroke
Spiritual revolt from the waist down
From the waist down
I'm just a full tank away from freedom

I don't know what this song might mean, but I do know that this is probably one of my favorite songs in their M A N I A album. It's a really great song.

The song talks about a toxic relationship and as one of the members of it decides to end it even if he does not want to do it

The song talks about Patrick’s addiction to drugs and him getting over them. He wants to do them one last time before being completely done with them. He say “these are the last blues we’re ever gonna have” referring to the drugs. Then says “let’s see how deep we get” referring to how effected he will get by the drugs.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
