Fall Out Boy: Young And Menace Meaning
Song Released: 2017
Young And Menace Lyrics
And we were never supposed to make it half this far
And I lived so much life, lived so much life
I think that God is gonna have to kill me twice
Kill me twice like my name was Nikki Sixx
I woke up in...

This song is really genius but probably not for everyone's taste...the refrain is awesomely painful to the ears...screaming loudly at such high pitch. I think it's really smart writing, adding to the adrenaline pumped feeling of being young and out of control.
It’s a fun teenage anthem on the surface, but from a dark perspective. Like the protagonist regrets something he had done, and now explains why... He was young and a menace, a kid who rebelled or just did not have the best of judgement... getting into/causing trouble.
(To me, on a personal level, the song feels like having a very strong mania and/or panic attack.) -
I think it is like a young outcast who is struggling to fit in/ is disapproved of (the new sound)
