   to me this song has a very deep meaning... when it says paint the mirrors black to forget you,and I still picture your face... to me it relates to my own experience when my best friend passed away in a nasty car accident and i've tried to paint the mirrors black to forget about that day but it's still there, the way he looked at me as he was takinghis final breath... roses in a glass dead and wilted... meaning that the life wilted away from them... now that could be completely wrong but that my interpretation of the song

   This song, despite the video showing one interpretation, is deeper than you can hear. The acoustic version of this song proves this so. It's not necessarily about his own relationship since Ivan himself is married and has a teenaged daughter. The Bleeding is a song about a relationship that's become unhealthy, possibly deadly. It takes the insults the person has been called by their partner and say it themselves but talks about how unhealthy the partner has gotten, dirty, most likely an addict of some kind that gave up trying to get better. Either the relationship ends or one of them ends up dying, thus the lyrics repeating "It's over.."

   I think this song is about a crazy woman that Ivan was in a relationship with. He got tired of her lying to him and bitching at him, so he dumped her.
   Then she killed herself or something, I don't know.

   I believe this song is about a man who was with an addict girl who was a bit*h to him behind closed doors and in front of his friends, she use to abuse his heart and take advantage of his kindness, one day the fight was too much and she OD'd on some pills

   I think this song is about how he was in a relationship that went down hill. He thought he was happy but in the end he was not. During the relationship I think she started playing games with his heart and she started lying, and started hitting him and screaming at him and it was just tearing him apart. In the video in the end she hung herself because he broke up with her, And i dont think Ivan wanted her to kill herself he just wanted the relationship to split but not for her to kill herself. I think thats why he was in a sad state of mind at the end of the video.

   I think this song is about a girl that he loved deeply, but they continued to fight. He found beauty in her even though she was, what some people would call "crazy" or as he said in the song "wicked." he continues to fall for her even though they have broken up.

   I wish i knew the interpretation was for this song. It's one of my favorites. I feel it could be about being in a relationship with someone who is in active addiction. The lack of feeling about anything he does for her and his feeling ugly to her. Possibly describing his bleeding heart. Nothing he does is good enough because the addiction is so strong.

   My interpretation is that he was addicted to drugs. He was a different person while he was on them. He painted the mirrors black and didn't even want to look at himself anymore. She couldn't take the abuse, took some pills, and hung herself. He is sober now and relives this memory and convinces himself that it was the perfect disease.
