Decembers Lyrics

Let's try to remember these days back in December.
Our lives were very different, I was lonely when we first met.
A small upstairs apartment, driving through the darkness
To get back home before they knew you were even gone.

JT had said in a radio interview that it's about his wife. After he got married, he had to go back on tour, which he felt guilty about, 'cause they didn't have chance to go on their honeymoon and he had to leave her behind.

A boy and a girl are in love but she wants to keep going faster in the relationship and get closer to him and so does he but he knows that in today's society that it won't last if they do that

I think that this song is about how love changes through time and how when you are really in love words aren't needed you sometimes just know.

kind of right dude above me, JT was on the road when he wrote this. "The Silence In Black and White" had turned double platinum at this time. The made life a constant tour. He hadn't seen his wife in almost 6 months. This songs talks about how they are internally bound no matter where they are. example "You don't need to talk, I can hear your heartbeat"

There is a boy who is really into a girl, maybe in love with her; and it's a mutual feeling. But either the boy is in a relationship right now and can't leave it for some reason, or there is something else keeping them apart even though they really want to be together.
