Crazy on You Lyrics

If we still have time, we might still get by
Every time I think about it, I wanna cry
With bombs and the devil, and the kids keep comin'
No way to breathe easy, no time to be young

But I tell myself that I was doin' all right
There's...

All I know is that my wife gets horny as hell when she hears it. I believe it reminds her of her first lover.

She has been with me for so long that it doesn't bother me.
If hearing a song gets her so fired up that she wants to go all night, who am I to be jealous.

Sometimes I play it on my phone while she is in a deep sleep. She wakes up and is all over me, telling me about the sex dream she just had.

When it comes on the radio while I'm driving she goes "Crazy on Me".
    Smile and a wink.

It’s about sex. Amazing sex. Mind altering sex- literally!

So afraid of one who’s so afraid of you-
To me this one line of the song speaks volumes. They are afraid of each other... why? What causes this fear?

Not only does it have kick a** guitar, but the meaning is deep, and yet it can fit easily into your own situation. This song refers to her incredible obsession with her man. but he picks her up when she is down and loves her like she loves him. Its beauty if you ask me.

OK, so some people might misinterpret this song as being only about her desire to get busy with a certain guy. But that's not it at all, as that's only one layer of meaning.

I read somewhere that this song was written after one of the Wilson sisters tried some mushrooms up in Canada, and they kind of put her in a stressed-out, paranoid mood and everything that had been bothering her just sort of came out in this thing she wrote, originally like a poem or something (I can't remember exactly), and then her sister wasn't feeling so good either and so they were sitting there and they turned what she wrote into a song. I may not have all the facts right, but that's the basic idea.

So this song is really a projection of all the fears and anxieties in life (the "bombs and the devil and the kids keep coming") and the only way she feels OK is when she's with this guy, because all that's left to do is "go crazy" on him, and she can tell him all this stuff and then they can make love and everything's OK, and it's the only way to calm her anxiety with the crazy, crazy world.
