   I personally think that this song, like almost all of their other songs is subtly about God and Dan Reynold's Mormon upbringing. I think it is about Dan asking for God's attention, and how he is less than perfect as a human.

   If you think of this song as its own, not connected to the other Imagine Dragons song, "Nothing Left To Say", it doesnt seem depressing at all. A lot of people say its about a toxic relationship. One that is falling apart. But I dont think its that bad. The relationship just seems kind of...shaky.
   "I threw some rocks up at your window" something to catch their attention. Romantic, I guess.
   "I broke some rocks right through your window" Whoops. It sounds like the guy is trying, but it just doesnt seem to work out all the time.

   I think this is a song about relationship confusion caused by some sort of lack of communication. This song is often featured as the hidden song after "Nothing left to say" The relationship is falling apart because they have nothing left to say to each other.
