   Ha! Your interpretation.... although perhaps you know the real interpretation and are either protecting them or those involved....or perhaps you just don't know the truth. In any case....it's obvious that the person who is speaking here is taking about an event that they participated in in order to become the person (if you can truly call them that now) they are today. "Wolves are those in the scene whether it be in the music or film industry who are operating by Satan and preying on souls". They say that people give their souls for game and fortune and I believe that this is what he is talking about and he was sworn in at this event even though he was afraid....but he became the man you see today. I used to be blind and sing to this song like it was any other song and then God opened my eyes and showed me the true meaning. The last time I went to see Incubus I saw Brandon literally change personalities right in front of my eyes as if he was allowing demons to take him over to help him perform. It broke my heart and I have been praying for him ever since.

   The song is in reference to their experience of the mainstream fame from just before they signed on into the intimidating and worrying period of time just after signing those papers . The woman with the full belly is the record company which signed them. the longest night of my life comment is the bands deliberation in private on if they should or should not sign. the first part is melodic, joyful and exhilarating like their new found bloom of success . the last half is dark, full of uncertainty and fear like the thoughts of if they would be accepted or if they would fizzle into obscurity. The company of wolves are the people eager and waiting with hungry eyes to cash in on what they know will be a mighty, unstoppable force we know as - incubus
