   You guys are retarded. East bound and down loaded up and truckin. Texas is west of Georgia. They were loaded and heading east with the beer. There was no Coors on the east coast.

   Down as in "hammer down". It means pedal down and driving fast. The rest of the song is about driving fast and being short on time. Eastbound is heading east.

   "and down" is the way you used to sign off on a CB radio to mean Im done talking but Im going to continue to listen-in the 70's. Since the song people now say "bound and down" to now mean the same thing. So east bound and down means: I'm traveling east- Ive stopped transmitting- but Im still listening to the channel.

   That is not it at all, in the movie this was made for they had to go east to pick up beer so they were east bound, later in the movie they were going back to the west so the song changed to west bound and down.
