   Ian Anderson once said , Matthew, I don't know what you are worth, you are just a tree. I think the tree is to sit by, if the stock market ends, becase of my suspicions.

   To me living in the past syncs to the Vietnam war and those who decided to not fight.This song was very popular in the US at the time and I think resonates with a lot of people.

   The great band JETHRO TULL with Ian Anderson gave our conscious mind something to think about by ''living in the past''. NOT in a negative way that you cannot enjoy living in the present, but to be aware of the Ruling class Elite mindset of western enlightment, planned ideal thaughts to still control the future, way to much that usually wants us to forget past history's sins committed against us the people, now to lose more of our identity that pushes us further with this ''progressive'' forms of change,change and more change towards their ideal future for us to the point that even if it means to destroy anything that's left behind in our minds and turn us even more ''progressively evil'' with wars,wars and more wars against the ones that just wanna be left alone and behind. To just think with the natural common sense principals. 'Cause it's possible that they wanna turn us into a bunch of Hilarious useful idiots with a Santayana quote ''those who don't remember the past are condemned to repeat it'' or like ''those who don't learn history are doomed to repeat it'' that's why TULL'S ''living in the past'' is just trying to wise us up, to not get stuck there absent minded and into the future.
