John Lennon gave up the Beatles for his family. He grew up in a world that seemed to be at war all the time. The Second World War, Vietnam, Political wars vs the people, so he wanted peace.
But this world does not want it and never will,
Since the death of John the world has had more wars and gun crime has gone through the roof since JFK was assassinated and Martin Luther King Jr so this world never wanted peace. -
John and Yoko felt isolated experiencing rejection, ridicule and criticism from many people after The Beatles. John took time away from music with Yoko (for example) after the Beatles to pursue other things and spend time with his family.
Lennon's song Isolation shed some light on his own stepping away from society's limelight and continued his ever present need to open society's eyes to genuine world problems. -
More of the narcissistic ideation to make the world a utopian paradise facilitated and administered by human baings centered around the idea that we possess a basic nature that is GOOD.
