Kiiara "Gold" is about a failed relationship between her and her ex-boyfriend. "Gold in my teeth" represents her success now and she saying he is beneath her and she don't need him. When the roof was falling you never let me know means when things were going bad he never told her how he felt he just stepped out on her and he tried to say sorry but it never showed, he probaly kept cheating. Now she is so up in life. she don't have speak to him or acknowlege his presence. She winning!

This song to me talks about a woman who is strong and fighting back against the controlling and abusive ways a man treated her. That she is her own person and will not be bullied or silenced anymore. That the relationship was far from normal by his controlling, manipulative and coercive ways. The below link makes for a very accurate representation of the lyric meanings.

Some men think that they can control and manipulate women. That they are better or greater. That they never need a ‘bitch’ and that they are what a ‘bitch’ needs. I suspect there is mental health connotations within the lyrics with ‘roof was on fire’ suggesting his mind wasn’t healthy and that he was dishonest in letting her know about his disorder. Sure there is sometimes mental health issues involved in relationships but those aside, one must always consciously be aware of their behaviour towards another and ask themselves if they would like to be treated this way themselves.

Ultimately she did the right thing for her. She said she would ‘leave the party without ever letting him know’ as in leave the relationship and blocked him out of her life. Most likely for her own safety.

Stay safe guys. Love and be loved well.

This song is about a VERY crappy woman.
She is attracted to a man, who doesn’t even know she exists.
(Which is weird, because she’s that creepy)
Some of the lyrics represent, her induced episode. “Creepiness”
When she talks about the roof being on fire. This is a mix of her pyromania, and her desire for his attention. And yet she still knows he won’t notice her.
The sorry thing was because she deliver bumped, and he apologized.
And then she leaves the party with out letting him know.
This represents her coming to a normal consciousness. Because he doesn’t know her. Therefore it makes sense, that she should leave without letting him know.

"Missed you on the basement" may refer to oral sex, so she's saying that she let her boyfriend's brother go down on her. Then when she says "bodies on the pavement" I think that's a reference to either her giving his brother oral sex in return, or her boyfriend jacking off. (the sperm are like lots of little potential people, and they're getting spilled on the pavement).

I think the whole song is euphemisms for sex acts and she's mainly talking about cheating on her boyfriend.

Umm. She trapped a person in her basement and they left so she got a substitute. And then someone died on a sidewalk. She's probably just mad because she has a toothache. Whoever shoved gold up her teeth is going to be in trouble. She's going to light their roof on fire and they'll leave the party without telling her.

It's about her telling her boyfriend that he never lets her go out with him. "The roof is on fire" is an expression used for when a party is poppin'...she says when the roof is on fire you never let me know.
