Hey, guys...plz don't take this the wrong way...plz take it into consideration...
Anyone heard "Kill You" by Korn? That song is about Jonathan Davis hating his stepmother so much he wants to kill her (because she abused him). And in the song "Thoughtless" by Korn he says "I want to kill and rape you the way you raped me".
Ironically, JD was raped when he was twelve years old, same year he met his stepmother...
He says that it was a friend of his family who was a woman...he doesn't want fans to know who raped him or that it was his stepmother who abused him as a child (he says in interview that it was a relative who abused him but in the song "Kill You" he says "You were my step-mom who always wanted me out of your sight")...
Idk, some of you are saying it was a neighbor who raped him. If you guys have any interview proof or anything, can you plz post the link? This is just what I think. -
It's quite clearly not his father who raped him as it says 'I'll be your daddy' so it shows someone else is offering to be a fatherly figure to Jon. When it says 'And fucked! Your own child' it could have been said metaphorically as the neighbour had offered toad Jon's daddy.
I don't think his mom was actually watching either, I think that could have also been metaphorically speaking saying it was like she almost knew and believed Jon but not completely. -
Ok this KoRn song is about Jonathon Davis being raped, not by his father as the title suggests but by his neighbour. There is a bit near the end of him crying, probably him looking back of days feeling lonely, alone, scared and like no one wants to like him. Another factor is his parents didnt believe him. As being a victim of this abuse in my own childhood I know exactly how it feels. Also the song Mr Rogers is believed to be the name of the person who raped Davis, but still that might be just superstition.

Ok listen, i was NOT his parents for the fxcking 10th time. it was a neighbor. a female. and im pretty sure it had nothing to do with a bike. John clearly states several times he had a good relationship with his father.

I think it was either his mother, and she dominated John therefore making her the daddy in their relationship,
If not this then I think maybe his mom was having an affair or was close friends with the man/woman who did it to him she probably didn't know about it, but in a way John blames her for introducing this person into his life so he says about his mother, maybe he told her and she didn't believe him, maybe John wasn't the only person raped by this person and he's also singing for all the others which would explain the confusion and changes in person. -

This is exactly what happened and when I heard it, it made me feel sick to the stomach, the song has so much emotion.
When Jon was young, he begged and begged for a bike and so his father finally bought one for him. Jon used to use the bike as an excape, to get away from life. So as most bikes do after overuse, it broke. When Jon told his father, he got mad and started yelling and swearing at him, telling him that he was going to hell and that he would get him back.
Sometime later, Jon's father paid there neighbour to come over to there house while he and his wife were out, to rape Jon, for 'revenge'. So Jon's neighbour came over while they went out, tied him up and raped him. While his neighbour was raping him, his mum walked in. As soon as she walked in, she stopped, starred and walk right out of the room, pretending nothing had happened. She didn't want to face what had happened, so Jon had to live with it for the rest of his life.
I feel so, extremely sorry for him. -
His neighbor who did it was a female and the whole thing about "i'll be your daddy" is just talking about the topic of child molestation just like the cover of the single is a picture of a little girl on a swing set even though jonathon is a boy

Why y'all still fighting over this? JD's no liar, and if he says he's got a good relationship with his dad he's got a good relationship with his dad. It was his neighbour who raped him, I think he was about five at the time (or so I've heard). Want proof that it wasn't his dad? Look at the line:
"I'll be your daddy"
It's not "I am your daddy", it's "I'll be". You know, like when you've got a really good friend of your parents who you're told to call Uncle or Auntie. It implies that the Neighbour asked JD to call him "daddy". JD writes what he sees and means, and considering the pain it's put him through, if it was his dad I doubt he'd stand for it. JD (and his father, if I'm not wrong) have always said they're never going to name and shame the guy, but somehow, I doubt JD would be like that if it WAS his father. The song would probably be a lot more vulgar too. -
First, I think Jon is lieing, I mean the song is called "DADDY" not dirty neighbor, and he CLEARLY says "Fucked your own Child" not "Fucked the next door neighbor boy" It is obvious for obvious reasons that Jon did not want to admit on record that his daddy actually raped him, he can say it was the "dirty old neighbor" but I think it's a lie. His daddy give him the pipe.

Ok guy its not John its Jon and there are many meanings for this song, people say he was raped by his father, people say he was picked on. Who knows? Unless you can get a recorded interview with Jonathan Davis about Daddy (which you won't) Then there is your answer. :D
