   This song is crap. Most people don't even realize what they are listening to. Gaga came out of nowhere, as one comment read. Now (through her songs)she is trying to convince an entire generation to turn away from God and morals and do what you want. Everything is okay as long as it feels good and you are not hurting anyone. So wrong. The scripture is the scripture, sin is sin. How convenient it is to pick and choose what to believe in the bible. God is forgiving (through Jesus'death on earth) but you cannot serve God and the Devil. Satan is the god of this system, you must choose.

   I think, from what I have read thus far, that some of you are completely nuts!!!
   
   I was raised Christian, however have found that my own personal spirituality has called me in a different direction.I do not mean religion either.
   
   One thing that I do need to point out is that Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, NOT 50. To get that tiny detail (which many Christians have made so many references to anytime they thought someone had sold out the Church) just shows that you have not studied the Bible.
   
   I believe that Lady Gaga is trying to speak about her past relationships in relation to her own spirituality. By using Jesus and Judas, it is a story that is so well known that the point should be easy to be seen. Do I think it was a wrong or poor choice? Do I think that Da Vinci was wrong to draw a nude man, or Michelangelo wrong to sculpt one? Who am I to say that art is wrong? Art is art, nothing more.
   
   The Church, however, in their unending quest to supress human nature would surely be happy to say that something in art is wrong, but that is just the nature of religion, which is why I am spiritual, not religious. For an entity,government, the church, a single police department, to claim to be holier than thou, but cover up for numerous pedofiles, I could not dedicate my life, nor defend the honor of.
   
   So much blood has been shed for the Holy Christian Church, yet there are those who call fans of Lady Gaga to be sheep? Remember the crusades when you call other ppl sheep. Remember the Puritans who caused the Salem Witch Trials when you call others sheep. Remember all the blood shed and lives lost when you call others sheep for sheep follow blindly, not just listen to music.
   
   And I highly doubt Lady Gaga is trying to tear down the Church. They said the same thing of Madonna in her time as well. Lady Gaga is just using a story that is well known to tell her own story. Judas, being the unfavorable men in her life, Jesus being the one she knows she should be with, but she is drawn to bad boys, many women are. If you don't think so, you should look at the statistics for Domestic Violence.

   I don't see why Judas is seen as "evil" or "satanic"
   Yes, he betrayed Jesus.
   Does that mean Judas was evil? does that mean he's satan?
   No..
   How many people betray someone these days?

   I don't think this song could only be refering to love and relationships, but any situation that you're living and simply you can't escape from it.
   
   That's why the cover of this song reminds me a tattoo because when you got it, you can't remove it. As living in a closed box.

    My insight of this song is that the line "King with no crown" represents Jesus because despite people considering him the "King of Kings" he had no crown or anything royal to prove to the world however he was still looked up to

    Ok so w e asshole was saying that Gaga wanted to end christianity is a f******* moron.It is all a metaphor but not for what some of u dumbasses think.Towards the end she is in the bath tub with 'Judas' and 'Jesus' and u see she chooses Jesus.But is stoned for her minor betrayal so stfu im so sick of hearing "Oh it's blasphame blah blah fucking blah."     I am amused at someone above equating religion with Christianity. Christianity is not and never was a religion. If Mother Monster wants to see an end to all organised religion then my response would be - GoGo Lady GaGa.
