XO TOUR Llif3 Lyrics

[Intro]
Are you alright?
I'm alright, I'm quite alright
And my money's right
8… (yeah)

I don't really care if you cry
On the real you should've never lied
Should've saw the was she looked me in my eye
She said baby I am not afraid to...

The song is about a guy who is trying to breakup with his suicidal girlfriend for cheating on him. He tells her he's done, it doesn't matter if she cries or begs. She shouldn't have lied. She looks him in the eye with utter devastation and says she will kill herself if he leaves her. He lost his friends to death somehow, whether it be violence or suicide, and he feels at a loss again. It is assumed she self-harmed whether it led to death or not.
He resorts to Xanax, anything to get his mind off it. He feels lost and disoriented when he is alone.

He feels like he's different. His story and pain makes him unique. He doesn't agree with other artists spitting on his game. He feels his turmoil makes his creativity different from the rest. He is sick of the judgement because he's been through more than most have seen. He holds it in behind these material properties but it'll never heal the tragedy of losing her and his friends.

This whole song is about an argument with him and Britney, his ex. "I am not afraid to die" is said by Britney after Uzi threatens to kill her. Uzi then says "Push me to the edge, all my friends are dead" to Britney, meaning she's driving him crazy, he doesn't need her because he never had friends, and doesn't need them because he's rich. "On the real you should've never lied" is most likely referring to the conspiracy that Britney cheated on Uzi, even though he tweeted denying it. "Xanny make it go away" is referring to using xanax to cover up his pain. And his biggest influence is Marilyn Manson, which explains his unusual mix of typical rap & darkness in this song. His whole album, which should be dropping soon, will definitely have a darker & more lyrical meaning- reflecting his true Marilyn Manson influence.

Hey. I'm lil uzi and I have money. I also have this girl named Brittany who is suicidal because I want to leave her. Time for my Xanax. Oops, I'm addicted and now I have health and money problems. Who cares, because my friends are dead anyways.

He has always messed with Brit and she has been through a lot with him so he finally took her serious and was her man and she fucked around on him. They both have a past like that, but this time it hurt cuz he really thought she was maybe the one true person in his life that loved him no matter what and was loyal but she let him down. He remembers her acting funny and it's all adding up and he tries to get over it but it's really fucking with him. He's gotta remind himself of how rich and blessed he is but all his life he has thought money would be all that mattered and it's fucking with his whole universe that all his material possessions aren't shit, compared to this pain. He is so distraught he turns to drugs but when they don't work he begs and prays for something to please take away his pain.

She wants him to give her another shot but he is afraid what he'll end up doing to her if she fucks up again and she says she's not afraid to take the risk of death to be around him. But ultimately he just can't let himself get hurt like that again and get that sad or close to the edge. He knows he can't handle another heart break. And then it hits him.... all his friends are dead. So to him she's dead, and so are all the other people that lied and betrayed him. All those that let him down are dead to him and whenever he feels himself weakening he just repeats "pushed me to the edge, all my friends are dead" till he believes it again.

    He doesn't need a hug
    Although the song is dark
It is true.if he doesn't need friends because he has money then I respect him

Honestly, this song is really sad, I don't think she ever should've lied. Fucking Britney. Also, I think it's sad that our society hits the folks to a song about all his friends being dead. That's j fuckitty fuckitty fucked up.

I'm not sure it true but I was told that it's based on a true story that Uzi met a fan and she said that all her friends were dead and she could not handle it anymore and she beg (push me to the edge) meaning that she wants to die and she jokes about.
    /I was told this I don't know if it's true/
