   I think the song is about the girl that used to madly inluv with guy but the guy took that for granted and now the guy wants her back but the girl now feels nothing anymore for the guy

   I think the song is pretty straight forward. A girl and boy broke up and the girl is still in love with him but their relationship was a very unhealthy one as chorus makes it seem. (You never brought me flowers

   Once we were made like towers
   Everything could have been ours
   But you left it too late now my heart feels nothing, nothing at all) The song just goes on about the girl leaving the boy and feeling heartbroken but knowing that she can't take him back or the cycle will just continue.

   I think this song is about a girl who used to love this boy so much. However, he didn't care about her like she cared about him. He didn't comfort her, love her, hold her and she just ... can't deal with it.
   She saying that he was never there for her, maybe possibly cheating?
   They were always fighting, and she is saying:
   This relationship used to be so strong, unbreakable. I was always second in your life though. And, you weren't there for me, my heart feels nothing anymore.
   When it says
   
   'When you're close I wanna change my mind
   But I remember you and what we're like
   I don't wanna let you waste my time'
   
   This is saying that a part of her in still head over heels in love with him, but she cannot keep repeating this never ending cycle.
   She needs to move on.
