   "All the times I tried to steal my best for you..."
   (Josh tried to show his best)
   
   "And I threw it up to keep it down..."
   (He had bulimia, so he threw up to keep his weight down.)
   
   "And watch it burn I hate the sound..."
   (Smoking heroine, and nor liking the sound of it.)
   
   "I, I know just how you feel
   'Cause I don't know how it ever got away..."
   (Josh can relate to people who don't know how their lives seemed to get away from them.)
   
   
   " 'Cause I still feel all the things I did before..."
   (Josh still feels what he did before turning to drugs)
   
   "When you used to need it more
   Remember all the ways you fixed me?..."
   (He uses to need heroine to help him get through tough times. It seemed to fix his problems.)
   
   "How will you fix me now? (Yeah)..."
   (How can drugs help him now?)
   
   "And if your ever feeling you're
   Bruised and battered, always sore
   And I wont tell no one
   Just breathe, breathe..."
   (If he feels bruises and battered drugs can't tell anyone. All he has to do is breathe in and get the illusion that things are better.)
   
   " (Who are you now?)..."
   (Can they help him now?)
   
   "And I'd rip it out if that would make you feel it more..."
   (Josh would cause himself more harm to make things feel like they did the first time he used.)
   
   "And I know you hate to watch me pout
   And tear it off and scream it out
   I, I know that even though your breaking
   You'll get sick and terrified..."
   (People hate to see Josh upset, and they don't know what he is doing to himself. He knows that even though drugs are breaking him he still gets sick from them, and feel down he is scares of what they are doing to him)

   (He continues to look to drugs to help him through tough times, and he won't tell anyone that he is using them, so he can't get help.)

   (Josh is basically letting heroine control his life, and he doesn't mind.)

   (Josh is telling heroine to take him, and consume his life)

   How do we fix you now?

   When you used to need it more
   Remember all the ways you fixed us?
   How do we fix this now?..."
   (It has gotten to the point that he doesn't know what to do, or how to fix everything.)

   I won't tell no one
   Just breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe!"
   (He may be getting himself in too deep, and has to remind himself to keep breathing)
