This song is about the man who stole a tank in California in 1995. His name is Shawn Nelson and he was a Army Veteran and an unemployed plumber. He later stole a US Patton tank. the song describes how he went insane, and felt like he had to steal a tank. The man was later on a highway, stuck, and shot to death in the tank.
