   Michael has been through so much. This song is a cry for help about him being obliged to take massive quantities of medicines because of his fragile health. At the beginning, he expresses himself how much he feels pressured, anger and frustration about his health. In a moment, when he's calm, he keeps singing "Demerol" which was then a medicine that contained morphine. Back then, morphine was used like a medicine too, so it's not about drugs, and Michael wasn't addicted to it- he hated it. If you hear carefully in that moment, you'll hear doctors all around and hospital machines working. He comes back with another woman telling him "Did you hear what the doctor said? " so he'll take his medicines at time. It was a cry for help, a sign of being tired.

   I think it might be about lisa marie because one reason she left him was because of his addictions, mainly in the demerol part. Basically saying I don't blame you for not trusting me, yesterday you had my trust, today I'm taking twice as much.
