Miranda Lambert: Over You Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Over You Lyrics
By now i should be used to the cold
Mid-Febuary, shouldn't be so scary,
it was only December,
i still remember,
the presents, the tree you and me.
But you went away, how dare you i miss you
They say...

I know what this is about.... It's in memory of Blake Shelton's brother. Why is it Miranda's song? Blake didn't think he could sing it at a bunch of concerts. How do I know that? I went to his Ten Times Crazier tour, and he talked about Over You.

Everyone has lost someone in their life and we can't really handle it. If not easy to see on the surface, we are secretly in pain from this loss.
-
I think the song is about the loss of Blakes brother and struggling to understand that he wont be coming back. And finally how it wont be ok and he will be forever missed.
-
Actually, the song is about Blake Shelton's brother Richie, who died in a car accident when Blake was 14. Hence, the name 'Shelton' on the tombstone in the video.

I think it's about a couple, and a car crash where one of died. The other one's trying to get over them though they think they never will.
