   I don't really know about everyone else, but this song is quite special to me because I felt like I was relating to it. Me and my girlfriend had this long thing over a year where we couldn't quite get the timing right and shit just, kept happening. It got in the way of how we interacted with each other and our romantic relationship.
   
   I've always been someone who worries as well. I worry all the time and I always try and plan ahead, I look forward, I try to enjoy the moment. it's real hard though. "The good old days" might as well be happening now and you don't know it. If you look close enough though and take in the good parts of your life, RIGHT NOW. You'll see today might end up being better than tomorrow. So, "looking towards the future, we were begging for the past" I feel that's a thing where, you aren't enjoying the moment, you think it will be better in the future. But it ends up being you're stuck in the future instead of the past. And you can't go back.
   
   These things you have now. They never last, everything isn't going to be around forever. Enjoy it while you have it. Doesn't mean when it goes it will be a bad thing. New things come, new things fill your life if something else leaves. One person can fill your entire life and you want to be with them forever. So you want them to last. You want this genuinely good thing, to last. So this, person, is just an example. So right now, in the past. (currently,in the past.) "we knew we had the good things, but they never seemed to last. Oh please just last." He wants that one thing to last when other things don't.
   
   We always try to plan out our lives and everything seems to go sideways. Nothing ever works out. Sometimes it seems like nothing good ever happens to us, "I know the world is unfair but why can't it be unfair in my favor?" -Calvin and Hobbes - but we always try to get the things we want and go to other people we find and see to be successful. and copy them and take from them. Humans tend to take what they like from others and use it as part of them. "We all just got caught looking at somebody else's page."
   
   I am writing this quite late so i'm going to go, but I may post more comments later on this wonderful band, and wonderful song. I hope others will share their opinions as well.
