Nine Lashes: Anthem of the Lonely Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Anthem of the Lonely Lyrics
Callous and bone
Fracture and tear it out
To let it go
And to think
I called it my own
And I would have never thought
The pain could grow
So I'll break it
Knowing what you said
The pain is what you make it
Sadly...

This one isn't easy actually, since it was confirmed by guitarist Adam "Tank" Jefferson, that quote,"... it can mean different things to different people, so I wouldn't want to narrow it down to what it means to any one person thinks. There are scripture references to all of our songs in our albums above the lyrics, we hope everyone will go and look them up and that those scriptures will be what ministers to or helps people in this life."
That said I believe to me that the song means that you'll stand for your faith (the lonely) and never give in to anything the world or whoever may offer.
That's my two cents on the interpretation, I hope y'all will have your own or maybe the same. Reading Scripture from The Bible helps with this since a lot of their songs corresponds with Scripture, especially The New Testament.
