   For all you people that DONT think this song is about heroin
   
   - IN MY OPINION -
   
   The only people that would EVER even doubt that this song is about his addiction to heroin, has clearly never been {severely} addicted to anything - not a bad thing of course. However, [recovering or active] addicts know this stuff so trust me :-D Not to mention, the lyrics are plain as day. They couldnt mean anything else, so you guys are all digging for a deep philosophical meaning while the truth is so easy to see.
   
   He was an addict. Shame he couldnt find serenity before he died.

   Can't this be about (literally) like twins, but one is smaller and weaker than the other, so the stronger (figuratively) says "it is now my duty to completely drain you" as in "i'm going to be the only one".
   I don't think it's about drugs.

   Man this is weird hearing a love song by Nirvana. I love love love the melody but hate the lyrics.
   
   I think it's bout a really sick mentally person falling in love with a healthy (mentally) person. and the sick person is self-centered and drains all the energy out of the well balanced person. but they love each other so much that the healthy one gets all messed up and then they both just teach each other how to cope but they draining each other of their energy but they feel so passionate bout each other now (because they both know how each other feel) that they stay in the relationship!
   
   I'm in love with someone like me and I would describe my relationship like this hahah.

   I always thought this song was about shooting heroin..

   The passionate kiss is from the needle to your body...
   from my mouth to yours - like the tip of the needle ("the mouth") and your skin..
   
   I don't think so though... This song is absolutely brilliant..

   Let me start off by saying this is one of my favorites Nirvana songs ever. It's a song about being on drugs and being in love at the same time. Completely amazing.
