"Sounds like it's some popular girl who has sex with what her and her friends would consider a wierd kid. She is only physically attracted to him and he seems to love her and hate her for using him"

That damn well better NOT be what that song is about! That ticks me off for 100 years to think that a pretty girl would think another guy is "weird" just for merely being attracted to her, and that she was "using" him. But then on the other hand, why is it such a bad thing for her to be "only physically attracted" to him - why would he hate her for that, and how was she "using" him then? He should be very thankful that she's attracted to him at ALL, as long as she's not making him PAY for it!

Sorry for the long rant, but I just get so tired of hearing about guys getting treated badly by girls they like, when all those guys are trying to do is be a good friend to the girl. It's like the girl is punishing the guy and calling him "weird" just for being a good guy. Boy, does that ever make me sick!

It makes me even more sick to think a guy would hate a pretty girl for being "only physically attracted" to him, as long as he doesn't have to spend half his bank account for it. By God, I sure wish I had that kind of luck to find a woman who was "only physically attracted to me", as long as she didn't try to ruin me monetarily!

The set of lyrics to the first part of the song, the 'I was your your enemy' section, are separate and unrelated to the rest of the lyrics. Its just a bunch of well worded nonsense that was written to be sung in that insane shrieking way that Kurt sings it in.

The second part is obviously just some sick sexual fantasy born out of a persons distorted reality, the way its worded makes me think of a fantasy about maybe woman on TV, like a combination of female spokespersons who advertise cheap consumer products like hairspray and Crisco.

I agree with a lot of what these other guys are saying. but I just want to bring up just an idea, that this song is partly about some kind of a really messed up sexual relationship. How they hate each other but still fuck.. I don't know just an idea. kind of explains the angry weird grunting and groaning at the end of the song

This song is about the troubles that we deal with in everyday life and in a sense he is talking to himself when he says "my enemy you were"

Rockon's interpretation is the correct one. For example,it's like in H.S. Say if you are a punk and you hate the disco kids. :-)

This song is about the distortion and unnecesary reason for hatred and enemies.
