My day will come, I gave too much
I sold my soul, I'm waiting for my pay in full
My only one, your dying love, I've seen enough
I tried but, I don't think so, maybe it was me who was fucking up
I gave all I could give but, it seems like it...

I think he idolizes the 90's in some ways as a time where culture was booming and we were setting up a future that seems to have dropped the ball, but in the lyrics admits that perhaps it was our fault. "Don't speak unless you have to, why you always seem in a bad mood, your whole life you've had an attitude, one day is that so bad for you?" I think it's an attempt at pointing out how nobody seems to be able to communicate what they need, and only really seem to speak out about what they want, which leads to people's opinions mattering more to them than truth and substance.

He gave his soul, and in return receives fame and fortune. His day coming is his death, and his souls eternal punishment.

Christ’s dying love for him is seen but rejected. He misses the point of grace and chooses to neglect it.

Then he claims to have tried the best he could, again missing the point of grace.

This is just an interpretation. I think these lyrics have noting to do with his musician career or his scooter rider hobby. I think the verses are actually kinda low key nihilistic and he's very dissapointed in how society treated him and he had to fight and win over his demons I'm not sure if he means overcoming anxiety or just sadness. He can't really see the meaning of all this from what he learned, he drops all values and begins to live in a more without-care lifestyle, maybe no-care?

I think it's about him trying to get signed long ago before his popularity and them not letting him be his goofy self that he is . And when he says they're acting vicious out here there's a lot of demons out there that's in reference to trying to make it with other labels and it not working out and how vicious they can be .

I think he is talking about a woman that came into his life and how his friends and close ones separated themselves from him and through the song also referencing the break up. Just my opinion.

Man this one is weird i think it might be Oliver trying to express himself in his own weird way for example oliver tree is a professional scooter rider and a 30 foot tall razor scooter makes a appearance in the music video. "Their acting viscous out there, There's lots of demons out here" That verse could refer to the hate oliver gets for expressing himself and the demons could represent those who put him down for being himself.
