    One person's personal interpretation: You care for the ones you left behind and miss them, but leaving them was necessary for you to move on with your life and to just have a better mental health. The money and pictures mentioned in the song represent keeping in touch and longing for a relationship. The smoke added to the sky mentioned in the song refers to just wanting to give up. "Just for the fleeting joy I'd get from adding more smoke to the sky". Basically, she feels like it a lost cause.

    Leaving behind toxic people but still caring about them despite how being away from them is helpful to your mental health and knowing they were damaging to you.

    Needing to move at all costs, but family and friends can’t go with you, so you have to leave them. Sending things they’ll need or like to make sure they’re okay, but still trapped in movement.
