   I don't think the band would send the message, "Well, don't kill yourself until May." I think if it was actually written for Olivia, they may have been saying "Hold On Till May" for another reason. Maybe she was planning on attending one of their concerts in May, or something of that sort. I don't think they would tell someone to wait until their planned month of suicide, they would tell them to let someone help them, or something else of the more positive sort.
