   It was the big bad wolf threatening the 3 little piggies. Hence the pigs (and sometimes the wolf) props appearing in this piece.

   I think someone is about to die death is in the threat i'm really frightend by this it scares me because those word's are scary as hell.i sure wouldn't want to make someone that angry

   Although The Song Is An Instrumental, The Threat (One Of These Days, I'm Going To Cut You Into Little Pieces), A Rare Vocal Contribution By Drummer Nick Mason Was Recorded Through A Ring Modulator And Slowed Down To Create An Eerie Effect. It Was Aimed At Sir Jimmy Young, The Then BBC Radio 1 And Radio 2 DJ Whom Pink Floyd Supposedly Disliked Because Of His Tendency To Babble. During The Early 1970's Concerts, The Floyd Somethings Played A Sound Collage Of Clips From Young's Radio Show That Was Edited To Sound Completely Nonsensical, Thus Figuratively "Cutting Him Into Little Pieces".

   As the announcer on a bootleg Pink Floyd concert album (Live on Westwood one, I think) put it "Is described by Roger Waters as a poignant appraisal of the contemporary social situation. Make what you will of that."

   The song was giong to be part of a film soundtrack and the film ended up being a flop and discarted. It was a slasher film and I think it was about a real event.
