    You are right, the song describes the painting by Richard dadd, it has huge Shakespeare influence and was painted whilst he was in a mental asylum.

    there was a beautiful but also confusing painting by some one of the name of Richard Dadd--I think--and this song was inspired upon seeing it. PS It's "The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke" rather than "Teller's" :D

    It was inspired by a painting Freddie Mercury saw. "Master Stroke" most likely means about the painter.
